These terms apply to everyone who uses TCG Rift (tcg-rift.com). By signing in, you accept them. If you do not agree, do not create an account.
The service
TCG Rift is a free fan-made pack-opening game, published privately on a non-professional basis. It has no ads, no purchases, no virtual currency and no donations. It is neither affiliated with nor endorsed by Riot Games (see the legal notice).
Minimum age
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. That is the minimum age required by Google and Discord, the services used to sign in. If the law of your country requires a parent’s consent at your age, ask for it before signing up.
Your account
- You sign in with a Google or Discord account that belongs to you. One TCG Rift account per person.
- You are responsible for what is done with your account. If someone else gets into it, secure your Google or Discord account and let us know.
- You can delete your account at any time from the Account page. It is immediate and final: your collection cannot be recovered.
Username and conduct
Your username is visible to other players. It must not:
- be insulting, hateful, discriminatory, sexual or violent;
- impersonate someone else, Riot Games or the publisher of TCG Rift;
- contain personal information (full name, address, phone, email…) or advertising.
Between friends, reactions are limited to four icons, with no free text. If a player bothers you, you can remove them from your friends or block them: they can then no longer send you a request. To report a username or behaviour: hello@tcg-rift.com.
Play fair
You may not:
- use scripts, bots or any automated means to play or open packs;
- use several accounts to get more packs;
- exploit a bug instead of reporting it;
- try to get around the site’s limits, access other players’ accounts or disrupt the service.
No real-world value
Cards, packs, XP, levels, achievements and everything you get in TCG Rift have no monetary value. They cannot be bought, sold or exchanged for money or for anything of real-world value, on TCG Rift or elsewhere. Selling, buying or transferring an account is forbidden. Pulls are drawn at random by the server, with no stake: you can lose nothing and win nothing but in-game cards.
Suspension
In case of abuse (a username that breaks these rules, cheating, multiple accounts, harm to the service or to other players), we may rename, suspend or delete an account, with or without notice depending on how serious it is. You can write to hello@tcg-rift.com to contest it.
Changes to the service
TCG Rift is a fan project. We may change the game (rules, cards, odds, features), pause it or shut it down at any time, for example at Riot Games’ request. Since nothing in it has real-world value, these changes give no right to any compensation.
No warranty
The service is provided as is, free of charge, with no guarantee of availability, accuracy or retention of your game data. To the extent permitted by law, the publisher is not liable for damage arising from its use or unavailability. This limit does not apply to intentional misconduct or gross negligence.
Intellectual property
League of Legends content belongs to Riot Games. The code, design and texts of TCG Rift belong to its publisher. You may share screenshots and links to your pulls; you may not copy the site or its data in bulk.
Personal data
What we keep and why is described in the privacy policy.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change, the date at the top of the page changes too. A significant change will be announced on the site; continuing to play after the announcement counts as acceptance.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Swiss law. If you live in another country, you keep the protection granted by the mandatory rules of your country of residence.
